Why choose concrete candles?

The concrete candle with lid has a unique look to it. You won’t find it very often and as it has been handmade from scratch it’s extra special. Our concrete vessels are made in our studio in IJsselstein (the Netherlands).

FAQ

Can I add a personal message to this candle? 

Yes, you sure can! If you want to put a text on the label of the candle just leave a note during checkout with the text you would like on the label. We’ll make sure to add it on to your candle.

Is it possible to giftwrap the candle?

It is possible to giftwrap your candle. Just add the giftwrap option to your order and we’ll make sure your candle will be giftwrapped before it is send out.

What is the candle vessel made of?

The conrete candle with lid is made of, you guessed it, concrete. For smaller shapes, such as candle vessels, we use a type of concrete that is specially made for casting these types of vessels. We love to share everything about it, but as it’s been quite a search to find the perfect concrete for our business this will be kept as one of our few secrets.

Will you add a card for me?

If you want to add a handwritten card to your order you can choose for the option to giftwrap + handwritten card. A little business card with the text ‘gift for you’ can be added for free, just leave a note you want a card when ordering. Please keep in mind that this card has little space and has enough room for your name but not much else.

About our candles

Our candles are made from rapeseedwax, an eco friendly alternative to paraffins. Our wax is made from rapeseedoil grown in Europe. More eco friendly, because of the shorter distance it has to go to the Netherlands (where we’re based). Rapeseedwax has a few other advantages:

• Vegetal, natural and biodegradable
• Kosher
• No animal cruelty
• No genetically manipulated substances
