Tealights are an easy way to create a cosy and romantic atmosphere. Even back when founder Anne wasn’t making her own candles, she always had some tealights around the house. Ours at Canndle are made from rapeseed wax and don’t have a aluminium cup around them. This is a more sustainable solution, as the aluminium cup gets thrown away when used. How does it work then? You just put your tea light in the holder and clean any wax that gets left behind. Usually this isn’t much, as the candles burn up quite nice. If there is some wax behind, simply clean it with some hot soapy water.

FAQ

Is it possible to order the tealights with a cup?

Unfortunately it is not. We don’t offer tealights in aluminium cup as this doesn’t fit our sustainable perspective as a brand. Most of our candle holders are a perfect fit for the tea lights, and you can re use those many, many times.

I don’t know which scent to choose, can you help me?

We are here to help! If you don’t know which scent fits you best you can take a look at our scent profiles where we give you more info about every scent we offer. Is it a gift for someone and don’t you know which scent to choose, you can also opt for a giftcard. That way the recipient can choose the scent themselves. Or, shoot us a message and we’ll gladly help you choose a suiting scent.

About Canndle

Our candles are made from rapeseedwax, an eco friendly alternative to paraffins. Our wax is made from rapeseedoil grown in Europe. More eco friendly, because of the shorter distance it has to go to the Netherlands (where we’re based). Rapeseedwax has a few other advantages:

• Vegetal, natural and biodegradable
• Kosher
• No animal cruelty
• No genetically manipulated substances
