Whipped wax candle making workshop

This workshop is a little more advanced than our regular candle making workshop. During the whipped wax workshop you’ll learn how to make your own whipped wax candles. You’ll get to choose the colour of your candle and learn how to pipe it. Don’t worry, we’ll be there to guide you every step of the way!

You’ll go home with your very own scented whipped wax candles, which will definitely be too pretty to burn anytime soon.

What will you take home?

When leaving the workshop you’ll take home your own 2 handmade whipped wax scented candles worth €40. And of course you’ll leave with a lot of knowledge. Not just about candle making, but specifically about how to make your own whipped wax candles.

Important information

When: the workshop will be planned with you. Sometimes there already is a group on a certain date and you can join that group.

How many people: a minimum of 4 people is needed for the workshop to take place. When you are with less than 4 people you can contact us and we can add you to an existing group to take the workshop. The maximum is 8. This ensures we have enough time for everyone to make sure you make the most of the workshop whipped wax.

Where: Edisonbaan 23, Nieuwegein. Free parking. Important: we are situated on the 1st floor with unfortunately no use of an elevator.

Costs: €60,- per person.

Includes: Your very own whipped wax candles (one small and one big) worth €40, coffee, tea and water, a little snack.

About Anne from Canndle

Hi! I’m Anne and I’ll be the one you’ll see during the workshop. I’m a thirty-something candle and Christmas-lover and the founder of Canndle. Loving the coziness and light candles provide I wanted to make my own. And not just any candles, I wanted to make sustainable candles that you don’t see much in the Netherlands. With Canndle I’m doing exactly that: making candles that are unique, burn longer and cleaner and that are sustainable. In the past I already hosted some workshops, on an entirely different subject though, as I hosted workshops about online marketing. I hope you will enjoy the candle making workshop as much as I enjoy hosting it!

FAQ

I don’t see a matching date in the planned dates, can I plan the workshop on another day?

Absolutely. Just contact us through WhatsApp, call or send us an email and we’ll gladly look at dates that fit both your and our schedule.

I am alone, can I participate in the workshop?

Of course you can! For us it doesn’t matter if you’re alone or with a larger group. We need at least 4 people for the workshop to take place, under ‘planned dates’ you’ll find already planned workshops and how many spots there are left. Don’t see a date under ‘planned dates’? Contact us and we’ll add you to our waiting list.

I am allergic, can I still enjoy the snacks?

When you are allergic to something, please let us know. We try to make sure everyone can enjoy our snacks.

On your website I saw a candle I really want to make during the workshop, is that possible?

You can always use our candles as inspiration for your own candle. The vessels used for the whipped wax workshop are set, because working with whipped wax is a little more complicated than making regular candles. That being said, you can add all kinds of figures to your candle. If you really set your eyes on something, please let us know in advance. That way we can make sure you will not be disappointed.

Will the workshop take place in your studio?

Yes! I am so proud to say that the workshop will take place in our studio. This will give you a chance to take a look in a candle maker studio and see candles we made and that you can use as inspiration.

Can I book a private workshop?

When you want it to be just your group and nobody else, you can book a private workshop. Booking a private workshop has a fixed price of €480,-. When booking regularly, other people might join you. Want to book a private workshop whipped wax? Let us know in advance and we’ll make it happen.

Can I make a colored candle?

I am so happy to be able to say: yes, you can. We are working on expanding our range of colors, so not every color is available yet. Did you have a specific color in mind? Let us know, so we can see if it’s possible.
